Calypso Lounge Upholstered Composite and Stainless Steel

Calypso Lounge

Developed and manufactured by Freestyle Composites, this beautiful design piece was one of the showstoppers at this year's Saturday In Design festival in Melbourne. According to it's designer, Jon Goulder, the Calypso is designed to provide it's user with cocoon like personal space within the home and to inspire conversation and intimacy between couples.

The Calypso combines a love seat with a traditional Chaise lounge and offers five ergonomically correct relaxed seating positions that radiate around its form - the ultimate in true comfort.

Industrial

Modular Fibreglass Enclosure System

Freestyle Composites have developed a modular fibreglass enclosure system that can be adapted to a wide range of applications. Available in a variety of sizes, the enclosure system can be customised to suit any requirement.

Enclosure system components are manufactured using the RTM (resin transfer method) manufacturing process, ensuring low cost and consistent high quality.

The enclosures can be produced in short or long production runs from a combination of standard and customised components. The modular construction method allows flat pack delivery which reduces transportation costs. The flat pack system also allows rapid assembly with minimal storage required for work in progress.

Fibreglass enclosure systems are suitable for the following applications:

  • Pad mounted transformers
  • Pump and plant equipment
  • Pad mounted switchgear
  • Metering and instrumentation

The fibreglass enclosure system offers significant advantages over traditional metal enclosures, including electrical insulation, corrosion resistant structure and low maintenance. Enclosures can be fully sealed or ventilated according to cooling requirements. IP rated enclosures can be provided to required specifications. Enclosures can also be manufactured with fire retardant resins on request.

The product range is adaptable to any application and customised fittings or modifications can be provided to suit your requirements. Engineering design services can also be provided to rapidly develop new designs from concept to tooling and production. Our in-house capabilities for all of these tasks ensure excellent service and short lead times.
